About The Position

The Training Grants Research Administrator at the University of Wisconsin-Madison plays a crucial role in the Office of Grant Administration within the Department of Surgery. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate NIH-funded training grants and submissions within the Department of Surgery.
  • Support Program Directors in executing training grant requirements, including recruitment and onboarding.
  • Advise faculty and academic staff on developing and submitting research training-related grant applications.
  • Keep faculty and trainees informed about grant statuses and policies from granting agencies.
  • Serve as a liaison with principal investigators and granting agencies regarding research administration.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual progress reports and budgets for research training programs.
  • Identify funding opportunities and disseminate them to principal investigators.
  • Facilitate training program requirements according to established research objectives.
