About The Position

Join ASEC as a Training Expert – Minotaur, where you’ll design, develop, and deliver high-quality training solutions that enhance mission readiness and ensure effective use of Minotaur systems. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and identify potential training requirements that are not being addressed by the Minotaur Family of Services and offer recommendations and solutions to solve potential gaps. Research technical and procedural information related to Minotaur-related missions, testing, and training. Design engaging, clear, and concise training materials tailored to diverse learner audiences (e.g., beginners, advanced learners, technical staff) using instructional design principles (e.g. ADDIE) to maximize comprehension and retention. Create PowerPoint presentations, training scenarios, and assessments aligned with community standards, organizational objectives, and stakeholder feedback, with regular updates to ensure relevance and quality. Author, edit, and ensure the quality, technical accuracy, and instructional design integrity of draft and final text-based training products, adhere to industry standards and organizational goals, through peer reviews, learner testing, and stakeholder feedback. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs), and project teams to resolve content issues, implement revisions, and ensure alignment with project goals. Deliver instructor-led training in the operation and employment of Minotaur software in hybrid learning environments. This description outlines the general nature and scope of the role. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

  • Operational or test and evaluation experience as a Naval Flight Officer (NFO), Electronic Warfare Operator (EWO or EWOP), or similar aircrew or watchstander position operating Minotaur software, required.
  • Demonstrated VQ, VUP, or VPU squadron experience preferred. Similar experience in other DoD or DHS commands will be considered.
  • Familiarity with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) processes and techniques (e.g., ADDIE: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), required.
  • Must possess a deep understanding of learning theory.
  • Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office 365, required.
  • Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams and with external partners.
  • Effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Proactive, self-directed work style with the ability to operate independently.
  • Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving capabilities.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
