About The Position

The Training Director is a senior leadership role responsible for the onboarding, development, and continuous improvement of team members and trainers across all areas of restaurant operations. This individual plays a vital role in upholding Chick-fil-A Cypress Ranch's commitment to operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences by ensuring our team is trained, empowered, and aligned with brand standards. You will work closely with the Operator and Director team to develop and implement training systems, foster a culture of accountability and growth, and support leadership in achieving key business goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of restaurant leadership experience (Chick-fil-A experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset and a passion for developing others
  • Comfortable with operational technology including POS systems, Pathway, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to multitask and lead under pressure
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended period
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop the Training Team, including assigning tasks and conducting performance assessments
  • Monitor and evaluate team member performance and identify training opportunities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for operational standards and service excellence
  • Own and maintain Pathway training for all positions
  • Facilitate regular training sessions, cross-training, and refreshers
  • Collaborate with other Directors to maintain proper staffing, scheduling, and daily execution
  • Ensure consistent execution of Chick-fil-A's Winning Hearts Every Day and CORE 4 service models
  • Uphold brand standards in food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service
  • Assist with inventory, facility management, and quality control processes
  • Provide hands-on support across all front and back-of-house positions as needed
  • Execute opening/closing responsibilities and support leadership with daily operations
  • Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning for training development and operational goals
