About The Position

MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced Training Development Coordinator to lead the strategy, development, and execution of all training activities for the PL SSW family of systems. You will serve as the primary training expert within the acquisition program office, ensuring that soldiers are effectively trained to operate, maintain, and sustain mission-critical equipment. You will collaborate directly with TRADOC proponent schools, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and gaining units to deliver comprehensive and effective training solutions. Requirements

  • MUST HAVE A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a DoD acquisition program management office, specializing in training development, management, and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Army Acquisition process (DoD 5000 series) and its relationship to training development across the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to apply the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) or Systems Approach to Training (SAT) for creating military training programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Must be able to work effectively on multi-functional teams.
  • Ability to self-start, multi-task, and prioritize competing tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% to various Army and contractor locations within CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Active Secret with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience managing the development and approval process for a NET POI with TRADOC and OEMs.
  • In-depth knowledge of Army training regulations and policies, including AR 350-1 (Army Training and Leader Development).
  • Previous experience authoring and successfully staffing QQPRI documents.
  • Experience with the Army's budgeting and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process.
  • Familiarity with Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) and their integration into training plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the New Equipment Training (NET) Program of Instruction (POI) by collaborating with TRADOC and OEM training leads.
  • Develop and implement viable, cost-effective training strategies that align with acquisition milestones and program budgets.
  • Prepare, manage, and staff Qualitative and Quantitative Personnel Requirements Information (QQPRI) documents through the TRADOC approval process.
  • Review and approve contractor-developed training materials, technical manuals, and lesson plans to ensure compliance with Army Regulation (AR) 350-1 and the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) / ADDIE model.
  • Provide direct input and expert guidance for logistics documents, training budgets, and the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process.
  • Coordinate all NET and New Equipment Fielding (NEF) requirements with gaining units to ensure seamless fielding and training execution.
  • Lead and participate in critical events, including Validation/Verification (Val/Ver), Operational Assessments (OA), Soldier Touch Points (STPs), and training-related Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Serve as the focal point for analyzing NET After Action Reports (AARs) to gauge customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement in the training program.
  • Act as a key member of Source Selection Evaluation Boards (SSEBs) to define and evaluate contractual training requirements.
  • Ensure Institutional, Home-Station, and Collective training solutions, including Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), meet soldier and program requirements.
