About The Position

The Training & Development Specialist at Paris Baguette is responsible for designing and delivering impactful training materials and programs that support both corporate and franchise cafe teams. This role focuses on translating operational and cultural needs into effective e-learning courses, job aids, and training manuals, ensuring that all materials are engaging and aligned with the company's mission and values.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in training and development, particularly in retail/restaurant operations required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) required.
• Experience creating course materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, guides, and assessment tools.
• Strong writing and editing skills required.
• Experience managing an LMS is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality training materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, training manuals, and assessment tools tailored to cafe operations.
• Partner with Human Resources, Training, and Operations teams to identify training gaps and opportunities.
• Ensure all training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with operational standards and brand voice.
• Collaborate on the implementation and maintenance of training courses within the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Translate the company's mission, vision, and values into compelling training content.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and key performance metrics; make recommendations for improvement.
• Visit cafes to observe operations and gather insights for training material development.
• Work closely with District Managers and District Production Managers to ensure training initiatives are actionable and impactful.
• Stay informed on training best practices and innovative approaches to learning in retail and food service.
