About The Position

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Training Developer within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. The Training Developer designs and develops training programs, materials, and courses to enhance employee skills and knowledge. They analyze training needs, create engaging content, select appropriate delivery methods, and evaluate program effectiveness. This role requires strong instructional design skills, excellent communication, and collaboration with subject matter experts. CGI Federal is growing its high-performance team whose members share a passion for building high-quality, scalable, advanced IT solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced, outcome-driven mission. This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 5 years of experience.
  • Able to Obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly, active TS/SCI with Poly highly desired.
  • Expertise in designing and developing effective training programs and materials.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging and interactive training content, including e-learning modules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for delivering training and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with multimedia tools, e-learning platforms, and learning management systems.
  • Ability to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Ability to manage training projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying learning gaps and training requirements through surveys, interviews, and consultations.
  • Designing training programs and materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and instructional guides.
  • Developing engaging and interactive training content using multimedia tools and instructional design principles.
  • Delivering training sessions and workshops, and providing support to learners.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessments, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Working with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to ensure training accuracy and relevance.
  • Managing and updating training content within LMS platforms.
