About The Position
Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Training Curriculum Developer in Virginia Beach, VA . This position is to provide Training Curriculum Development support for modernization and upgrade initiatives for Sensor Distribution Systems (SDS) onboard Navy ships. Develop, review, update, and maintain Navy Training System Plans (NTSP), Computer Base Training (CBT), Lesson Plans, Training Guides, and other training materials and planning documentation for the execution of Navy training requirements. Develop Computer Based Training (CBT) hosted on Navy e-Learning. Assist in defining training requirements and associated support strategies for systems and equipment. Review and evaluate training strategies/plans, training assessments, integrated learning environment, web-base training, and embedded training. Review and updated Learning Management System (LMS) and non-LMS CBT files, Storyboards, Data Maps, and other applicable training documentation for technical refreshes.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Must have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (I.e., Project and Excel)
- Must have 5 years of experience with CBT development.
- Must have 5 years of experience with NTSP.
- Must have an Active DoD Secret Security clearance, and the ability to maintain clearance.
- Must maintain clearance eligibility to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Technical Writing for Naval Systems, preferred.
- Experience with Model Base Product Support (MBPS) , preferred.
- Experience with utilizing Navy Data Environment (NDE) with various modules, preferred.
- Experience with OPNAVINST 1500.76 Naval Training Systems Requirements, preferred.
