Training Coordinator

The Training Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining the Readiness Insight or similar training database, ensuring that all training requirements for personnel are met. This role involves maintaining certification forms, exams, and computer products related to the certification and licensing program. The Training Coordinator will utilize the Readiness Insight database to manage all aspects of required training for T-54 / T-44 personnel at Corpus Christi, ensuring that the database reflects an accurate and up-to-date status of all training and certification requirements for all assigned personnel. In addition to database management, the Training Coordinator will train personnel in the functions and use of the Readiness Insight database, indoctrinate new personnel, and establish training requirements upon their check-in. Coordination with work center supervisors and outside agencies is essential to ensure that class quotas and training are attained in a timely manner. The Training Coordinator will also keep managers, supervisors, shift leads, and crew leaders informed of all certification and licensing requirements, ensuring that personnel obtain and retain qualifications within appropriate timelines. The role includes processing and tracking all special process certifications and re-certifications for employees, providing administrative assistance in developing licensing and certification processes, and assisting in the preparation of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents. The Training Coordinator will distribute monthly reports of personnel scheduled for re-certification, submit training data for the Monthly Maintenance Plan and/or Monthly Personnel Plan, administer and grade exams for initial and recurring certifications, and issue support equipment licenses. Maintaining cleanliness of the work center and complying with all established safety rules and regulations is also a critical part of this position.
