About The Position

As a New Colleague Integration (NCI) Trainer, you'll be at the forefront of leading change for our Manufacturing Teams. In this role, you will join a team of NCI Trainers to mentor, train and be a trusted resource for our Frontline Operations Teammates as they begin their careers at ADM in our Operator Development Program. The Operator Development Program exemplifies ADM's culture of caring and continuous learning. This role will be based in the Global Training Center, supporting ADM Decatur Complex Operations. The Decatur Complex, located in Decatur, IL, consists of 6 processing plants, onsite cogeneration and water treatment facilities, and employs ~1500 Plant Operations Colleagues and an additional ~1000 Contractors. About the Operator Development Program: Dedicated to learning about our production environments and safety standards. Real-world scenarios are simulated to provide hands-on training. Teammates engage in safe and controlled exercises such as entering confined spaces, performing lockout/tagout procedures, and wearing fall protection at heights. While safety topics receive significant focus, new teammates also receive training on common plant operating equipment.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in any of the following areas: plant operations or maintenance, certified trainer or ability to attain ADM certification, program and project management, and/or Continuous Improvement
  • Proficient in facilitating, coaching, and mentoring
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to bridge cross-cultural boundaries
  • A drive for success, a continuous improvement approach, a consistently positive attitude and outlook
  • Travel may be required (~10%)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule training activities
  • Prepare for delivery of classroom, field training, and evaluations
  • Facilitate classroom and field training exercises
  • Document and report training status
  • Analyze and improve training delivery & content
