Requirements

  • College Degree in Education or Technical Field strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years manufacturing experience or technical training/teaching preferred.
  • Lean manufacturing training and experience preferred.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop, and knowledge of Adobe software suite beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate projects and deliver results.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Must be able to adjust to changes in workflow, prioritize as needed, and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated strong sense of urgency and ownership of process.

Responsibilities

  • Under direction from plant leadership, develop training material, organize schedules and provide logistical support for training and maintain training records.
  • Track required training to ensure on time completion and proof of documentation.
  • Create both digital and classroom-based training content based on direction from plant leadership.
  • Maintain files and documentation defining plant Training policies and procedures.
  • Conduct training as required, including new hire orientation.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering and Safety teams to provide input and gain alignment regarding training content, delivery, scheduling, and other logistics as needed.
  • Convert observations and opportunities into implemented solutions for measurable Key Performance Indicator (KPI) improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Support existing and drive innovation for new 5S initiatives.
