Overview The Distribution Training Center Manager is responsible for leading the onboarding and training of frontline employees and new leaders at a manual and automated fulfillment center. This role ensures training programs are aligned with live operations and continuously improved to reflect evolving production needs.
Requirements
- Strong operational background in distribution or fulfillment environments
- Familiarity with WMS systems and handheld scanner technology
- Proven ability to lead, delegate, and influence across levels
- Experience in training delivery or instructional design
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven and capable of operating independently with remote supervision
- Servant leadership mindset with assertive diplomacy toward senior stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Oversee onboarding for frontline staff and leadership roles in coordination with HR and staffing agencies
- Design and deliver training programs that mirror live operations and workflows
- Maintain smooth daily operations of the training center
- Coordinate cross-departmental training schedules for new leaders
- Supervise and support one direct report (Trainer)
- Ensure training materials and methods are inclusive for a multilingual workforce (English, Spanish, French Creole)
- Communicate with remote leadership and local site leaders to secure buy-in and feedback
- Propose and implement improvements to training processes and infrastructure
- Track training throughput and maintain records of onboardings
