Overview The Distribution Training Center Manager is responsible for leading the onboarding and training of frontline employees and new leaders at a manual and automated fulfillment center. This role ensures training programs are aligned with live operations and continuously improved to reflect evolving production needs.

Requirements

  • Strong operational background in distribution or fulfillment environments
  • Familiarity with WMS systems and handheld scanner technology
  • Proven ability to lead, delegate, and influence across levels
  • Experience in training delivery or instructional design
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-driven and capable of operating independently with remote supervision
  • Servant leadership mindset with assertive diplomacy toward senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Oversee onboarding for frontline staff and leadership roles in coordination with HR and staffing agencies
  • Design and deliver training programs that mirror live operations and workflows
  • Maintain smooth daily operations of the training center
  • Coordinate cross-departmental training schedules for new leaders
  • Supervise and support one direct report (Trainer)
  • Ensure training materials and methods are inclusive for a multilingual workforce (English, Spanish, French Creole)
  • Communicate with remote leadership and local site leaders to secure buy-in and feedback
  • Propose and implement improvements to training processes and infrastructure
  • Track training throughput and maintain records of onboardings
