About The Position

MHI RJ Aviation Group (MHIRJ) is the merging of two important heritages: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the CRJ Series program. We provide comprehensive critical operational, engineering and customer support solutions including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, marketing and sales activities for the global regional aircraft industry.   We’re hiring a Training Assistant to help drive our continued success!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in data entry or office administration.
  • Ability to interact with diverse levels of employees and Customer Representatives to successfully resolve any outstanding training issues or concerns.
  • Working knowledge in a variety of computer software programs, (Teams or Virtual Meeting Platforms, PowerPoint, MS Word,) to input, revise and manage data entry for Training Management Systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in aviation maintenance, training coordination, or administrative support is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain training records and documentation in compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions, including onboarding, recurrent, and specialized training.
  • Track employee training progress and notify supervisors of upcoming and overdue training.
  • Support the development and revision of training materials and manuals.
  • Prepare reports for internal audits and FAA inspections.
  • Develop custom training reports as requested.
  • Manage training room schedules.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot classroom equipment.
  • Monitor facility issues, order supplies, and coordinate repairs when necessary.
  • Act as liaison for outside training groups as necessary
