About The Position

The Training & Development (T&D) Supervisor plays a crucial role in the Department of Equity and Inclusion, focusing on developing and facilitating a comprehensive DEI training curriculum. This position is responsible for creating micro-trainings, developing original DEI content, and facilitating impactful conversations on inclusion and belonging. The T&D Supervisor will assess organizational DEI practices, leverage best practices to accelerate progress, and embed DEI policies across the organization, while also mentoring trainers and collaborating with various departments to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in education or a related field.
• Five years of related experience in DEI or training roles.
• Two years of supervisory experience.

• Experience in project management and strategy execution.
• Proven experience in a strategic leadership role within a DEI-focused organization.
• Background in DEI training design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Director and Assistant Director, providing strategic guidance on DEI learning and training.
• Develop and deploy a comprehensive DEI learning strategy, including staff development programs and training sessions.
• Evaluate current practices and flagship trainings to ensure effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and measure the impact of training initiatives.
• Initiate the development of new trainings and workshops to fill training gaps.
• Collaborate with external partners to develop inclusive training opportunities.
• Provide regular reports on progress toward DEI goals.
