About The Position

The Training and Development Summer Intern Opportunity at Rentokil offers a meaningful and engaging experience for interns to develop valuable skills in instructional design and corporate training. Interns will work closely with senior instructional designers to learn about training operations, project prioritization, and the application of adult learning theories in real-world scenarios.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Instructional Design, Learning Design and Technology, Instructional Systems Technology, Educational Psychology and Technology, or a similar field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating new e-learning courses and redesigning existing course materials.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather information and tailor instructional materials.
• Explore and work with the Learning Management System (Cornerstone) to understand online learning content management.
• Participate in needs assessment and analysis for training requests to identify learner needs.
• Reflect on internship experiences and compile a portfolio showcasing projects.
• Receive mentorship from an experienced Senior Instructional Designer.
