The centers provide campus-based direct services and supports at 13 centers located throughout the state. Training and Development Assistant - Performs entry-level training work. Maintains refresher training records and compiles reports on training programs. Maintains student registrations and coordinates training locations for refresher and specialty classes. Presents courses during new employee orientation and refresher sessions to ensure compliance with minimum training requirements and competency on the job. Assists in development of curriculum and preparation of other training materials related to staff training and development. Other duties as assigned. Works under close supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Prefer experience working directly with a developmentally disabled population.
