About The Position

As a Training Analyst, you will have advanced knowledge of Service and Joint training doctrine, policies, regulations, orders, capabilities, and requirements. You will support our client by providing feedback on training support effectiveness, aiding in the control of sites through the accuracy of shared information, observations of unit-level HST, and participation in working groups and planning teams. You’ll bring tactical and technical expertise to work on projects to improve training readiness across the Marine Corps. You’ll research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and provide subject matter support to the Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training Environment for the Marine Corps. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes related to training capabilities and readiness. You’ll guide the work we do for and the solutions we deliver for training readiness across the Marine Corps. Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience with DoD organizations
  • 3+ years of experience working at a service-level headquarters
  • Experience utilizing Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training Environments to strengthen the combat lethality, resiliency, and readiness of Marine Corps formations
  • Knowledge of MCTIMS, Training and Readiness Manuals, and MC training policies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications or Adobe
  • Ability to assess training simulation systems to ensure they meet the requirements of the training audience and ensure training readiness of the force
  • Ability to integrate emerging tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and lessons-learned that set the foundation for enhanced warfighting skills across the Marine Corps
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple sites, agencies, and commands, and analyze data to inform Command training and service-level training decision-making
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with simulation and training enablers in exercises and training events to enhance and immerse training audiences into a desired operational environment
  • Experience conducting range modernization
  • Experience facilitating exercise scenario design, and the development of training objectives for supported units, local supporting establishment, and various agencies and services
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field, including those related to supported Military Occupational Specialties
  • Knowledge of U.S. military considerations globally
  • Knowledge of range instrumentation
  • Bachelor's degree
