Trainer II GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training from Squad through Echelon Above Brigade (EAB). MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT Delivers small, medium and large collective training events / exercises in accordance within the established MTC training program. Supports Unit Commander’s Training Objectives by developing training methods and materials such as curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids based on consultation with client / user specifications. Develops TSP training products that include comprehensive operational procedures for an integrated federation of Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS) and Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) simulation / stimulation systems. Participates in Event / Exercise lifecycle management (planning, preparation, execution and recovery, AAR). Consults with users to design, create, and configure systems to meet their training requirements. Develops training environments that are unique to unit training requirements. Completes setup and configuration of systems, conducts testing, troubleshooting and modification of systems as required. Participates in internal AARs upon completion of training Certifies IAW the Professional Development and Certification Program (PDCP) Performs other duties as required

Requirements

  • Education: BS/BA (subject immaterial)
  • Required Experience: 2-5 years of military training and training support operations; MTC experience required; three years of experience, within the last five years, with military simulations and networks; Battalion or higher operations or training assignment or Civilian or Corporate equivalent preferred
  • Required Technical Skills: Hands on expertise and understanding of C2IS and Sim-Stim systems and integration; robust knowledge of the Army and Joint Event Life Cycle and planning processes, simulation architecture and both simulation and tactical network architectures; superb understanding on MTC operations
  • Security Clearance Level: Secret clearance required
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Superb presentation and communication skills; strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on JELC / ELM requirements and Simulation objectives; Must be able to lead a planning team to create a high-fidelity, realistic training event in a Live, Virtual, and Constructive environment to meet customer requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Former FA57 or CP36 with at least five years’ experience highly preferred
