About The Position

This position, Trainer - IC, involves performing all Inventory Control (IC) functions such as cycle counts, sweeps, inventory adjustments, product/location setup/moves, recalls, Return to Vendors (RTVs), and product identification, while also maintaining the product item master. The role is responsible for reconciling various inventory reports, including those for variances, expired products, negative on-hand stock, and locked cells. Key duties include setting up new products, processing damaged or expired merchandise, and investigating inventory issues. The Trainer - IC provides detailed investigations and explanations for all inventory adjustments and supports all warehouse functions, frequently interacting with customer service, vendors, and the corporate purchasing department. The role also involves participation in special projects and adherence to company standards for quality, quantity, and workplace behavior. Requirements

Ability to pass machine driver safety training for all required equipment.
Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
Good communication (written/verbal) skills.
Detail oriented and accountable for making accurate decisions under set guidelines.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and handle multiple assignments.
Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code).

Nice To Haves

One year of general warehousing operations.
Knowledge of inventory control.
High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable work experience.

Responsibilities

Supports and interacts with all functions within the warehouse.
Frequently contacts customer service, vendors, and corporate purchasing department.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis.
Performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.
Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
