About The Position
The Technician Trainee is an opportunity for an individual to obtain the training and experience necessary to become a qualified Technician. Candidates will enter into a book and hands-on training program to expose a broad yet thorough knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Measurement Systems pertaining to refined products and/or chemicals. The training program is normally 24 to 36 months in length and includes on-the-job training while working alongside individuals from Technical Services, Operations, and Engineering. Training covers various areas including maintenance, troubleshooting, project commissioning, wiring, calibrations, project management, system layout, system optimization, emergency response, construction oversight, equipment repair, and performing studies. Upon successful completion of the program, candidates must be willing to be relocated into an open technician position based on company needs.
