Department Description: Columbia Pictures is a film studio and film distributor that is a division Sony Pictures. T he globally oriented studio has produced and financed some of the industry’s most notable franchises including Spider-Man, Jumanji, Bad Boys, Peter Rabbit, Men In Black, Ghostbusters, and Venom.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Available to work in-office Monday through Friday
- Must have prior internships at production companies/studios
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage shifting priorities
Nice To Haves
- Passionate about film
- Comfortable handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication skills — both written and verbal
- Willing to assist with a range of tasks, from creative input to administrative support
- Familiarity with Mac/PC systems and basic programs like Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Assisting with general administrative tasks, phone coverage
- Preparing and reviewing pitch materials, running occasional errands, and contributing creatively when appropriate
- Work closely with executive assistants and other team members to support day-to-day operations
- Creating book reports
