About The Position

This opportunity allows a trainee to take on responsibilities that simulate the role of a behavior analyst, under the close supervision of a BCBA. The trainee will be responsible for supporting the clinical direction of a case, including modifying skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols, providing case supervision to RBTs, and conducting caregiver training. Trainees will engage in data review, make data -based recommendations, update CentralReach programming (learning trees), and contribute to treatment planning and documentation. All duties will be completed under direct and indirect supervision in alignment with BACB fieldwork standards

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a verified course sequence (VCS) and active accrual of fieldwork hours toward BCBA/BCaBA certification.
  • Completion of foundational BST and at least 4 weeks of case shadowing.
  • Competency in data collection and documentation and ethical standards (BACB Code).
  • Ability to provide feedback and model procedures for RBTs.
  • Basic experience in reviewing session data and analyzing graphs and discussing trends.
  • Comfort with caregiver communication and coaching using BST.
  • Familiarity with CentralReach or similar platforms for program management.
  • Professionalism and punctuality and openness to feedback.
