HallMar Village is seeking a Trained Medication Assistant (OMT) to join our team in Long Term Care! Weekend Package Part Time Saturday & Sunday 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm ABOUT THIS COMMUNITY HallMar Village is a joint ministry of Mercy Medical Center and Presbyterian Homes & Services. This senior living community will offer independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartment homes as well as long term care suites. With the Village Center at its heart, the community offers inviting and comfortable living spaces along with outdoor elements including patios, courtyards, gardening spaces, and walking trails. Requirements

• Successful completion of a state approved training program and current certification in medication administration (OMT) in state(s) in which he/she practices.
• Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program and current certification (CNA) in state(s) in which he/she practices.
• Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities

• The Trained Medication Assistant is responsible for the provision of high quality care and services to Care Center residents consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices.
• The Trained Medication Assistant administers medications and treatments under the direct supervision of a nurse and performs Resident Assistant responsibilities as assigned.
