About The Position

The Trained Medication Aide (TMA) position at Interim HealthCare Staffing involves providing essential support to residents in assisted living and memory care facilities. This role requires a passion for caregiving and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and short notice shifts. The TMA will also assist as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) when needed, ensuring high-quality care for seniors in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• 18 years of age or older
• CNA certificate and current status on the MN CNA Registry
• Graduation from a Trained Medication Aide Course of 48 hours or more
• 6+ months of Nursing Home or Assisted Living experience
• Ability to pass criminal background checks
• Ability to communicate in English in both verbal and written form
• Experience with charting in electronic medical records system
• 6+ months of experience as a TMA

Responsibilities

• Support residents at assisted living and memory care facilities
• Assist with cares as a CNA when needed
• Work flexible schedules across all three shifts
• Prioritize weekend and short notice shifts
