Context We’re looking for a new Train Control Engineer in our Systems and Power Sector to help drive the objectives and challenges our valued clients have trusted us to solve for them. As a SYSTRA US Train Control Engineer you will join a world-class team of high-performing engineers, designers, drafters and others who work collectively to ensure client projects continue to thrive while remaining on track and budget. Missions/Main Duties Duties and Responsibilities: Work with clients to define client requirements for Train Control system acquisition (greenfield or Brownfield) and/or modification of existing Train Control systems Develop Technical Specs and drawings, and implementation plans for Contract documents for the latest in US Train Control Systems Technology for conventional Train Control and/or Positive Train Control Perform technical reviews of Train Control system designs and implementation planning Perform technical reviews of Test & Commissioning plans & procedures and perform factory and field testing or test witnessing of Train Control Systems.   • Work with clients to define client requirements for Train Control system acquisition (greenfield or Brownfield) and/or modification of existing Train Control systems
  • Develop Technical Specs and drawings, and implementation plans for Contract documents for the latest in US Train Control Systems Technology for conventional Train Control and/or Positive Train Control
  • Perform technical reviews of Train Control system designs and implementation planning
  • Perform technical reviews of Test & Commissioning plans & procedures and perform factory and field testing or test witnessing of Train Control Systems.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams and clients to further Profile/Skills
  • 15 years of experience in design and implementation of railroad or rail transit computer applications for Train Control Systems. This includes systems design, acquisition, and Test & Commissioning of Train Control Systems
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer or Systems Engineering, or Computer Science preferred. Will consider significant applicable experience in lieu of technical degree
  • Working knowledge of wired and wireless networking
  • Master of Science in relevant technical area.
  • 5 years experience in Northeast Corridor PTC systems
  • Proven experience i n one or more of: Requirements Management, RAM Analysis, System Safety Analysis, Cyber Security, TVA.
  • Experienced in supporting Project Management
