About The Position

Guy M. Turner Inc. is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician / Mechanic to join our Greensboro-based trailer shop. This role focuses on trailer repair and maintenance for open deck equipment (flatbeds, step decks, and double drops), including preventative maintenance, brake jobs, lighting repairs, and other fleet mechanic responsibilities. As a Trailer Technician / Mechanic at Guy M. Turner, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on our fleet of open deck trailers. This includes brake jobs, lighting repairs, wheel seal replacements, flooring repairs, and other general trailer maintenance work. Hydraulic experience is a plus, but not required. CDL is also a plus, but not required.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Trailer Technician / Mechanic (or in a similar role)
• Knowledge of trailer systems and components, especially open deck trailers
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices

Nice To Haves

• Hydraulic experience is a plus (not required)
• CDL is a plus (not required)

Responsibilities

• Perform brake jobs and lighting repairs
• Conduct trailer PMs and preventative maintenance
• Service and repair open deck trailers (flatbeds, step decks, and double drops)
• Complete wheel seal replacements and flooring repairs
• Handle other trailer repair work as needed
