About The Position

As a Trailer Mechanic/Technician, you will be the expert customers rely on to keep their fleets on the road. This field-based role is suitable for skilled technicians who enjoy independence and variety in their work. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Commercial trailers. Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on trailer tech experience working on Commercial trailers.
DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise that keeps fleets rolling safely.
Strong communication skills – you know how to connect and communicate with customers and drivers alike.
Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools to stay organized and document repairs.
Ready for the outdoors – rain or shine at customer yards.
Independent, dependable, and self-motivated – you take pride in getting the job done right.
A positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
Bring your own hand tools and we’ll supply everything else.

Responsibilities

Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow up repairs on Commercial trailers in a field environment.
Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, suspension and air systems – keeping trailers safe, compliant, and road-ready.
Repair structural and exterior components such as corner nose rails, corner radius, wheel seals, bottom skirts, panels, doors, and top rails.
Put your expertise to work using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to get the job done right.
Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating industry-standard repair times.
