About The Position

Purpose of Position: Performs maintenance and repairs on Commercial Trailers per OEM and company policies. Essential Job Functions: Diagnose and repair assigned trailers in an accurate and timely manner. Verify repair is complete and fixes original customer complaint. Notify shop foreman of other potential issues associated with vehicle. Punches in and out of job costing program to ensure accurate time billed to customer. Mindful of maintaining customer’s trailer cleanliness at all times while working on trailer. Works to achieve company efficiency standards. Ensures warranty parts are returned to proper department for processing. Follows all established OSHA and company safety protocol to include keeping work station neat, clean, and free of debris. Other duties may be assigned as listed job duties are not comprehensive and should not be construed as such. This job description is subject to change.

Requirements

• Verbal and written communication to include simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic computer use and navigation skills.
• Knowledge of trailer repair techniques.
• Ability to learn company standards, warranty procedures, and vehicle policies.
• Customer Service focused.
