About The Position
Transport Refrigeration of Northwest Arkansas (TRA) is hiring a full-time Trailer Technician for our Lowell shop. This hands-on role is a great opportunity to break into the diesel and trailer repair industry with on the job training and mentorship. 🔧 What You’ll Do in Your First 90 Days Learn to inspect, repair, and properly document trailer repairs Assist with lighting, wiring, brake replacements, and door repairs Shadow experienced welders and insulation technicians Gain knowledge of shop safety, tools, and repair documentation standards
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude or vocational/technical school background
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in an active shop environment
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Learn to inspect, repair, and properly document trailer repairs
- Assist with lighting, wiring, brake replacements, and door repairs
- Shadow experienced welders and insulation technicians
- Gain knowledge of shop safety, tools, and repair documentation standards
