About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions , one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Trailer Mechanic/Technician ! Our Trailer Mechanics repair and maintenance heavy-duty Class 7-8 trailers to ensure a safe and efficient operation (including Air Brakes, 90 BIT & DOT Inspections and Repairs on Class 7-8 Trailers). Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience! Potential Sign On Bonus, up to $2,500 Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00pm- 10:30pm (2nd shift) What’s in it for you? Full-Benefits within 30 days! What the Trailer Mechanic/Technician role looks like: Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to heavy-duty Class 7 - 8 trailers, dollies, and switchers Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to Class 7-8 Trailers Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance

Requirements

• At least 1-3 years experience as a Trailer Mechanic/Technician performing vehicle repair and maintenance or must possess an auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school.
• Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills
• Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to Class 7-8 Trailers
