Requirements

Skill Level: Advanced Level
Primary responsibility is the maintenance and repair of trailers
Valid state driver’s license / US work authorization
Dependable, organized & self-motivated
Minimum 1yr experience as a trailer technician diagnosing, repairing (brakes, tires, lights and DOT Inspections), and maintaining commercial trailers
Excellent communication skills
Must provide and maintain personal tools and storage boxes
Advanced Aluminum welding & fabrication, replacement of structural components, suspension components, electrical troubleshooting and wiring

Nice To Haves

A CDL, clear of violations/accidents & provide current DOT medical certificate

Responsibilities

Value our customers with a high standard of excellence in quality & efficient repairs as well as excellent customer service
Diagnose, repair & maintain commercial trailers by analyzing diagnostic test results (computerized, sound, visual, feel, smell, etc.)
Perform Federal DOT inspections as well as preventative maintenance
Perform light duty repairs
Maintain company owned tools
Maintain company owned service trucks
Participate in company paid training & continuing education of OEM spec changes
