As we continue to grow and expand, we are currently hiring a Trailer Technician for our Trailer Shop. We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, detail oriented, willing to jump in and help out where needed, and a strong work ethic. This position handles the complete repair and general maintenance of semi-trailers, as well as all other styles and sizes of trailers. Awarded Star Tribune's Top Work Places 6 years in a row. We like to work hard, play hard, and take pride in everything we do! SCHEDULE: 2nd shift Mon-Fri (4pm-1am)

Requirements

Great work ethic
Willingness to jump in and help out where needed
Technical aptitude with basic electric diagnostic / troubleshooting experience a plus
Welding experience a plus
Basic tool set and tool box to start (assistance programs available)
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. occasionally and 10-50 lbs. frequently
Good written and verbal communication skills
Reliability and a dedication to be a hard worker
Ability to work independently maintaining a safe, efficient and friendly work environment
Honesty and respect

Responsibilities

Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
Perform repair and customization work as assigned including routine maintenance, brake replacement/repair, suspension repair, electrical and pneumatic and hydraulic component troubleshooting and repair, trailer body repair including complete trailer rebuild.
Provide after-sale services, such as component installation
Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers
