About The Position

We are looking for an individual to direct and manage the sales of used trailers for both fleet and resale, remarketing of retiring rental assets and remarketing of trailers designated for resale.  This is a fast-paced environment where the position will perform a variety of responsibilities:

Requirements

• Must have strong organizational skills and be extremely organized.
• Must have the ability to multi-task.
• Previous sales experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
• Attention to detail and highly organized.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and database.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Have a comprehensive knowledge of wholesale and retail pricing on trailers based on size, specifications and location.
• Identify and profile prospective customers through outbound calls using Mckinney website leads, branch leads, advertising leads and industry networking.
• Communicate with and coordinate with our Sales VP’s on prospective customers to ensure we do not undermine existing rental or lease business.
• Leverage branch teams and to assist sales as necessary.
• Develop a strategy and an effective marketing plan working in conjunction with Mckinney marketing team and branches within the territory to sell both fleet and resale equipment.
• Update CRM with prospects and customers for future marketing purposes.
• Ensures sales targets are achieved for the sale of resale trailers and work with branches within the territory so they are successful with the sale of fleet assets.
• Coordinate and assist branches as necessary the sale of fleet assets.
• Provide management with frequent communication on remarketing activities and current market trends.
