Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its Concord, NC branch location. We are looking for a Trailer Mechanic to join our team of trailer professionals. Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a heavy-duty truck or trailer mechanic.
• Must have knowledge regarding the safe handling and operation of trailers.
• Experience with fabrication, suspensions, air brakes, electrical systems, liftgates, body repair and welding is a plus but willing to train.
• Must present a professional, highly motivated, positive, result oriented, problem-solving attitude.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Must have own hand tools. Some tools provided if enrolled in Apprentice program.
• Must adhere to all Company policies including safety policies and regulations.
• Must pass standard pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of trailer repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, installations, replacements, and diagnostic tasks for various makes and models of semi-trailers and related equipment.
• Ensure all work is performed in an efficient, timely, accurate, professional, and safe manner in accordance with all Company policies, DOT, OSHA and other governmental standards and regulations.
