About The Position

The position involves assembling and disassembling vehicle engines and cleaning fuel tanks. Responsibilities include maintaining hubs and axles, adjusting or replacing them as necessary, and inspecting, servicing, and replacing trailer parts, including tires. The role also requires checking and repairing brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Two years Experience preferred
• A valid driver's license
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs)
• Fabrication and Welding preferred

Responsibilities

• Performing PM’s & Federal inspections on Dry van trailers
• Diagnosing & repairing electrical issues (trailer lights)
• Brake Jobs & Wheel Seals
• Sheet metal work on dry van trailers (roof patches, Panel patches)
• Diagnosing & repairing ABS Issues
• Welding & torching (Steel, aluminum & Stainless Steel)
• Body Work (Side Rails, Panels, Roof, Top Rails)
• Overhead/Roll up door repair
• PM Yard Trucks
• Repair or replace malfunctioning or worn-out parts, including brakes, suspension, and electrical components
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks on trailer bodies and structures.
