About The Position

Peak Thermo King is currently seeking a Trailer Mechanic that is motivated and experienced. Experience with diesel repair is a plus. Peak Industrial Company is made up of four different businesses that span across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Montana, and Texas. We are the dealership for and sell, rent, and repair Thermo King transport refrigeration equipment, trailer sales and repair, JCB construction equipment, and Club Car, Golf, and Utility Vehicles. Requirements

  • 2+ years truck/trailer mechanical repair experience.
  • Possess standard mechanic’s tools – as required to perform assigned duties.
  • Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment.
  • Must be computer proficient.
  • Strong organizational ability, focus on the needs of the customer.
  • Can-do attitude with ability to demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Safety conscious attitude and work practices.
  • Desire to learn and continuously improve self and surroundings.
  • Clean driving record and ability to maintain clean drug screens.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently diagnose and repair truck/trailer systems.
  • Diesel system maintenance – including fuel system cleaning and maintenance.
  • Drive excellence in customer service through proactive communication and meeting commitments.
  • Drive to meet and exceed productivity, cleanliness and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Follow established technical and administrative processes as directed.
  • Adhere to all technician policies and procedures while completing tasks and efficiently closing repair orders.
  • Participate in OEM and other training programs as deemed appropriate.
