SUMMARY Maintain all company equipment in the field at Customer locations or breakdown locations for safe and efficient operation. DUTIES Perform preventative maintenance and inspection. Perform safety inspections in accordance with FMCSA 49 CFR 396. Diagnose and repair minor engine issues using specific manufacturer software systems. Repair or replace brakes, wheel seals, suspension parts and coupling devices. Diagnose and repair electrical and pneumatic issues. Repair or replace chassis, suspension and axle components including, but not limited to: air bags, shocks, brakes, ABS modules, air tanks and lines. Repair or replace flooring, rub rails, doors, door seals, wall and roof panels. Perform general repairs to company equipment. Maintain regular and reliable attendance OTHER SIGNIFICANT JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE Partner with drivers, dispatchers, and leadership to perform necessary repairs, maintenance, or inspection or troubleshooting of various service issues: Intake of road service calls to help drivers during emergency breakdowns Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations. Additional duties as assigned by Leadership and Customer. Requirements REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma 2+ years of experience as a technician/ diesel technician is preferred Knowledge of shop equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment OTHER INFORMATION: The essential job functions and major job functions are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the job functions that an individual will be required or expected to perform. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of experience as a technician/ diesel technician is preferred
  • Knowledge of shop equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
