About The Position

Dimmick Group Peterbilt, a family-owned and operated dealership, is currently seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team. With 9 locations in NY, VT, and NH, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our customers. 2nd Shift Trailer Mechanic hours are 1:30pm to 10:00pm . The Trailer Mechanic will be responsible for repairing, maintaining and assembling trailers, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

Requirements

• General knowledge of trailer mechanics and hydraulic systems
• Ability to fabricate / operate a welder
• Have own tools to perform standard trailer repairs

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs on trailers
• Conduct hydraulics maintenance and repairs
• Fabricate and weld trailer components as needed
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Assemble and maintain trailer parts and systems
