About The Position

Position Summary Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US , is looking to hire a skilled Trailer Mechanic in Saint Peter, Missouri! The Trailer Mechanic will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Class 7 - 8 trailers and will operate vehicles and test all working parts in various functions to ensure proper operation. Seeking a seasoned Trailer Tech with strong experience in structural trailer repair, including crossmembers, doors, floors, and roofs. Must be proficient in DOT inspections and air brake repairs. Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Potential Sign-On Bonus up to $2,500! Requirements

Must have at least 2 years' experience performing vehicle and trailer maintenance.
Must be able to enter and exit the driver's compartment of the truck and/or behind cab using normally available footholds and handholds
Must provide own hand tools
Perform DOT inspections
Basic computer skills
Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)

Responsibilities
