As a Trailer Mechanic/Technician A, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining all trailers and related equipment used by the Company in the transportation and handling of freight in a safe, efficient, timely, cost-effective, and practical manner. This equipment includes over-the-road and city trailers of various make and configurations. Track completed and uncompleted work to maintain adequate production to meet service s chedule and customer commitments. Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis on the component parts and systems of trailers . D iagnose any mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or other type of breakdown or potential failure . Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication, cooling system t est, brake adjustments, and tire inflation r epair . R ebuild all or part of a system of assigned equipment as needed.
