Trailer Mechanic/Fabricator

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2+ years of tank and/or trailer repair, and fabrication experience for our Fife, WA location! Address: 3443 20th Street E, Fife, WA. 98424 Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Pay Range: $28.00 to $42.00 per hour, dependent on experience. (Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.)
Requirements
- DOT inspection certified mechanics
- 2+ years of tank and/or trailer repair, and fabrication experience
- Must obtain a High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Background in confined space entry (preferred)
Responsibilities
- The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
- Tank service and repair
- Trailer suspension installation and repair
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs
- TIG & MIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience
- Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
