About The Position

The Trailblazer Program Job Coach at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is responsible for assisting with UCEDD projects, providing job coaching, and offering administrative support for transition-based programming. Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience (three years related education/experience may be considered).
• 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous job coaching experience preferred.
• APSE Certification preferred.
• Strong written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with UCEDD projects related to job coaching and transition-based programming.
• Work with students to improve their social skills and employment skills.
• Provide feedback to students in real-time during job coaching sessions.
• Collaborate with individuals with disabilities and their families to support their employment goals.
