What you’ll do: The Brass Tacks Build and maintain biking and hiking trails, and other general upkeep. Ensure the security, cleanliness, preventative maintenance and repair of all department tools, equipment and safety features are in accordance of established procedures. Ensure workspaces are kept in a clean and orderly manner and storing all tools, equipment and spare parts in proper location. Responsible for the proper treatment and care of tools and equipment used to perform tasks. Responsible for completing delegated work orders in a timely and professional manner. Reports and addresses unsafe conditions immediately. Responsible for driving mountain bike shuttles. Other tasks as assigned. Where you'll work: Jug Mountain Ranch Spanning 1,410 acres beneath Jughandle Mountain, Jug Mountain Ranch features a championship 18-hole golf course, Nordic trails, and preserved open spaces. With plans for a community village, private trails, and year-round recreation, it blends natural beauty and tranquility just minutes from downtown McCall.

Requirements

  • Must have a general understanding of mountain hiking and biking trails and construction.
  • Must have knowledge and the ability to operate tools, hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner. As well as knowledge and ability to run trail building equipment and machinery.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be flexible and able to perform multiple tasks and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain biking and hiking trails, and other general upkeep.
