About The Position

As a critical contributor to the LD&T Team, the Traffic Supply Chain Leader (SCL) takes part in setting the agenda and executing the strategy of the Business Unit, and holds responsibility for all site Traffic operations. The Traffic SCL will also enable their teams to achieve the Business Unit expectations in our People, Quality, Service and Cost Key Performance Measures.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or related major

Responsibilities

  • Manage traffic center performance with focus on strategic P&L decisions
  • DOT/Safety Traffic Responsibilities including DOT compliance, building safety-first culture, and audit compliance
  • Drive Traffic Center culture
  • Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- & long-term performance goals
  • Communicate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues
  • Manage the performance of direct reports through performance reviews, frequent discussions, coaching,and career development action plans
  • Work closely with upstream suppliers and downstream internal customers to deliver expected results
  • Organize and facilitate work team meetings (examples: pre-shift, roundtables, etc.)
  • Solve daily operational issues
  • Administer policies and practices
  • Initiate and implement projects
  • Conduct presentations and formal training programs
  • Improve team communication and engagement
  • Think quickly, creatively and challenge team to do the same
  • Must enforce safety rules, report potential and current safety issues, create work order and follow up with action plans assigned to ensure the safety of their team members. Also responsible for reporting incidents including, but not limited to, near misses, property damage, reportables, and first aids. Must also be Program Owners for Safety and/or Environmental Program Owners in conjunction with team members
  • Supports efforts to ensure business is conducted in a safe environmentally responsible manor

Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
