Traffic Signal Technician

This is a full-time, regular, non-exempt union position. The role involves installing, repairing, replacing, and maintaining all components of streetlight and traffic signal systems in compliance with state and federal regulations. The position requires operating various tools and equipment, including a bucket truck, to perform complex electrical and electronic repairs. The technician will also coordinate and inspect the work of contractors, maintain records, respond to emergencies, and provide information to the public and city employees regarding traffic signal and street lighting activities.
