About The Position

Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Inspect and verify packages, parts and documentation (both incoming and outgoing) for quality and accuracy Complete inspection records and inventory transactional paper work as needed Follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to meet quality requirements Work as a team member to aid others in achieving quality goals and on-time delivery goals Pack daily customer and vendor shipments of parts, labels, packing slips and any required documentation. Seal container(s), weigh, and place in designated shipping location Generate shipping labels and documentation using shipping software. Contact shipping/freight companies for pick-ups as required Use forklift to move materials as necessary Monitor supplies and utilize material replenishment reordering system Follow and perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks Cross train and assist other areas of production as needed Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong attention to detail/accuracy Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player Experience with computer systems Experience with forklift Previous shipping and receiving experience in a fast paced environment Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and ability to change priorities quickly and remain positive Customer focused with a strong aptitude for quickly learning part numbers and manufacturing processes Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching in warehouse and dock areas Manual dexterity for handling packages, paperwork, and computer equipment Qualifications: 2+ years experience shipping and receiving in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of freight shipping methods and documentation Experience with ERP, WMS, or shipping systems Basic understanding of inventory control processes For candidates based in Minnesota: The pay range for this position is $17.12 - $29.09 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
