About The Position

As a member of the Vehicle Controls team, you will work closely with our Navigation Software team on advancing the capability of Tesla’s in-house traffic prediction and routing algorithms that serve our customer cars today and will serve our future Robotaxis. You will apply a combination of basic physics modeling of the world, along with strong skillsets in statistical analysis, operations research, and machine learning to help improve our systems. Tesla vehicles collect many terabytes of data per day. You will work on problems spanning aggregating Tesla fleet data to improve our in-house traffic prediction models, improving accuracy of ETA provided by the navigation system, improving route quality, and more.
