About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Traffic Management Center Operator to be based in Nashville, TN. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and control traffic management devices (CCTV, Dynamic Message Signs, etc.) across Davidson County highways. Support first responders, emergency management, and law enforcement communications. Detect and report incidents, dispatch service patrols, assist first responders, and notify the public. Handle calls from various persons, organizations, and agencies. Create and submit work orders for equipment failures or malfunctions. Use software applications to control ITS field devices, monitor traffic flow, and perform data analysis. Ensure the accuracy of data submissions in logs, reports, and documentation. Provide guidance to responders and motorists during severe traffic events. Post alerts, notifications, and messages as needed. Assist in coordinating responses to disasters and high-profile events affecting roadways. Perform other related duties as directed.

Requirements

  • High School + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
