Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering required, with emphasis in transportation.
  • Previous internship experience preferred.
  • Experience using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the licensed professional engineer on all facets of traffic engineering.
  • Assist in design and studies related to traffic signals, signing and pavement markings, work zone traffic control, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Connected and Autonomous (CAV) vehicle technology, roadway lighting, traffic operational analyses, and safety analyses.
