Requirements

Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s engineering program with a focus on civil or transportation engineering at an accredited college or university.
Relevant coursework in traffic engineering, transportation planning, or roadway design is preferred.
Familiarity with traffic engineering software such as Synchro, VISSIM, or HCS is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office tools and CAD software (MicroStation or AutoCAD preferred).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
A GPA of 3.0 or higher is desirable.
Prior internship experience in traffic or transportation engineering is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist in traffic engineering studies, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Support the development of traffic signal designs, signing and marking plans, and traffic control plans.
Perform traffic modeling and simulation using industry-standard software.
Contribute to safety analyses and operational assessments for roadway and intersection projects.
Assist in preparing technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions for clients.
