About The Position

RS&H is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our team in Jacksonville, FL! This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote. As part of the infrastructure team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by preparing complete project documents, analysis, and reports; analyzing and interpreting data; performing analyses of design, planning, and impact studies; and perform quality control reviews. This position may also provide technical guidance and assign tasks to junior and support staff for project duration and/or manage discipline and small multidisciplinary teams. To be successful in this role, you must: Have a degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Have your PE and be in good standing. Experienced in traffic operations and safety analysis, as well as document production. Proficient in production and traffic software experience including HCS, Synchro, SIDRA, and VISSIM. Have a passion for formulating and solving problems with timely and innovative solutions. Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders. Requirements
